Flavour Seekers guide to AEKU disposable range (detailed) (1.5 ohm regular)
AEKU disposable range advice for Philippines, covering new in, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Philippines shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
We spent weeks putting aeku disposable range options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Charging over Micro-USB takes about 87 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the AEKU Slim earns its keep: the 3000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 65 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the AEKU Slim with a 20:80 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
In Philippines, availability of the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The mesh tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 20:80 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
For flavour seekers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 20:80 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
The 5.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1397 full puffs from a charge at 12 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Airflow control on the AEKU Slim is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 65, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Vanilla Custard: creamy, rich, described as warm vanilla bean with a smooth cream finish. On a 20:80 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.0 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Philippines
Availability in Philippines is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.0 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and PHP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
